We'll race again!

The wait for racing action will soon be over: the first European Race 2020 is scheduled to take place in Jerez on 19 July.

Drivers, teams and fans have been waiting for this moment for more than three months: the new World Championship calendar 2020 and thus also the date for the first European race of this year have been fixed. With a tight time schedule, 13 races are to be held until November. The races planned so far will take place exclusively in Europe. However, the GPs of America, Argentina, Malaysia and Thailand have not yet been definitively cancelled, so there is even an option for four more races until December.

DORNA announces the current world championship calendar on June 12, 2020 as follows:

08. März Qatar
19. Juli Jerez (1)
26. Juli Jerez (2)
09. August Brünn
16. August Spielberg (1)
23. August Spielberg (2)
13. September Misano (1)
20. September Misano (2)
27. September Barcelona
11. Oktober Le Mans
18. Oktober Aragon (1)
25. Oktober Aragon (2)
08. November Valencia (1)
15. November Valencia (2)

With the additional note "All dates, events and the eventual admission of spectators are subject to the development of the pandemic and the approval of the relevant governments and authorities", Dorna retains the right to comment at this stage on the admission of spectators to the forthcoming races.
