13th place on the grid for Tom Lüthi at the StyrianGP
Tom Lüthi disputed the qualifying session of the Grand Prix of Styria today and will start from the fifth row of the grid after passing straight to Q2.
Tom Lüthi convinced in the free practices with the direct entry into Q2. This weekend, the Swiss had a very good feeling for the bike straight from the beginning and thus managed to achieve a promising starting position for the race by making it into Q2. He will start tomorrow's race from thirteenth on the grid.
Tom Lüthi (P13 | 1’29.361):
«It was a strong day from the whole team today. The step into Q2 was important for us - I'm glad we managed that. Q2 itself was okay, but I didn't have the perfect feeling for the bike that would have allowed me to get on the front rows. In the end I made it to thirteenth place. We still have a few settings to try out tomorrow in the warm-up for the race and I hope that will take us another step forward. Now I will try to regenerate to be ready for tomorrow.»
