Learning weekend at the PortugueseGP

Tom Lüthi has finished the Grande Prémio de Portugal with a seventeenth position and valuable information on the direction to keep working.

Tom Lüthi crossed the finish line of the third round of the Moto2 World Championship in seventeenth position. After a difficult weekend, the Swiss rider says goodbye to the Portuguese track with a clearer idea of the work to be done to achieve improvements that will allow him to be in higher positions in the classification.

The next race of the Moto2 World Championship will take place at the Circuito de Jerez – Ángel Nieto for the Gran Premio Red Bull de España the weekend of May 2nd.

Tom Lüthi (P17 |  +27.470)

Unfortunately, we didn’t do steps forward today if we just focus on the result but at least we did it in the feeling and in the work done. We have quite clear clue where we need to work on. We have to be patient. It takes some time. We have to really keep working now in this direction. Overall, the weekend has been difficult. We didn’t have enough speed but it was good to have always more or less the same conditions on the track, not like Qatar where we had really mixed conditions. This has helped us a lot to understand more what we need and where we need to go. This makes me feel quite more confident when I think about Jerez. Not much more to say, we keep on working. I’m motivated and looking forward to the next race.
