Two productive test days in Jerez

Tom Lüthi completed two very productive days of private testing at Circuito de Jerez before flying to Qatar for the last official tests before the start of the Moto2 World Championship.

Tom Lüthi leaves Jerez with a positive assessment of the work done with his team. The Swiss rider faced the two days of testing with the aim of working on having a good race pace. Lüthi and his technicians have been able to gather valuable information in order to continue working on the last test of the preseason to be held in Qatar next week.

#12 Tom Lüthi

It has been quite positive. I have to say that we have been very lucky with the weather. Was really cool to have good conditions to do many laps. It was two days full of work, especially for the guys. We were testing big parts of the bike and this means a lot of work for the mechanics. Thanks a lot, to the team. We did a really good job overall and I think we can be quite happy. I’m not happy at all with the lap time but it was not on the focus. We were focusing on trying to find out what is needed to have a really good pace. We could do quite good steps and we could understand some more things after these two days. This is the most important thing. Now we pack for Qatar. I’m happy to have some more testing days there before the first race. I think we are on the good way.
