Tom Lüthi will take part in the 2018 MotoGP

After a successful cooperation for three years Tom Lüthi and CBGM Evolution will go separate ways. Tom Lüthi (30) will compete for the Belgian team EG 0,0 Marc VDS in 2018.

Tom Lüthi:

I’m incredibly excited about the change to Marc VDS’ team. My dream of rising competing in the MotoGP-class has been fulfilled. It’s amazing to be able to take this step and be supported by a very motivated and professional team. I would like to thank Marc VDS as well my current team CarXpert Interwetten. It was only thanks to them that I could become this successful. We became vice world champions together and I’m close to winning the current world championship title. They paved the way and I’m looking forward to successfully end this season with them.

Daniel Epp Management Tom Lüthi

We are happy to announce that the contract between Tom and the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Marc VDS Team has been signed. The main reason why we can make this step up, is the strong performance of Tom in the past years, which was and is only possible due to the great support we've had from his present team CarXpert Interwetten. Thanks to that, we are able to fight again for the world championship title, after already being last year's vice world champion in moto2. After Tom being present at the top of the moto2 world championship for many years, we finally get the chance to step up one more level and compete with a professional and strong team in the MotoGP World Championship in 2018. Thanks to everyone who has supported us during these past years. We're looking forward to continue this great cooperation with all our partners.
