Problems on day two: position 26 on the grid

Tom Lüthi continued to struggle with problems at the Alcaniz GP on Saturday and ended up on the ungrateful ninth row of the grid for the twelfth race of the season.

For Tom Lüthi, the longed-for liberation was unfortunately not achieved. As before, there was hardly a step forward, neither with the new setup settings nor with the softer tyre. Nevertheless, he always has the feeling of pushing to the absolute limit. Therefore, the ambitious Swiss missed his participation in Q2 qualifying as 12th in Q1 and will have the mammoth task of starting the 21-lap race from 26th place tomorrow.

Fingers will be kept crossed for the second race in a row at MotorLand Aragon, in which Moto2 starts at 2:30 p.m., last after Moto3 and MotoGP.

This result after qualifying is actually unacceptable to me and very disappointing. Unfortunately, we couldn't improve and we haven't gotten any faster in any of the sessions. Nevertheless, I always have the feeling that I am riding at the absolute limit and yet the times are not enough at any point. We're lacking speed going in and out of the corners. We will of course sit down again to understand what is going on, but at the moment I cannot give a prognosis for the race.
